What is s13 engines?

The Nissan S13 is a chassis code that was used for various Nissan models between 1988 and 1994, including the Silvia, 180SX, and 200SX. These vehicles were powered by a variety of engines, including the following:

  1. CA18DET: This 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four engine is the most common engine found in S13 models. It produces between 170 and 210 horsepower depending on the model year.

  2. SR20DET: This 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine is found in later model S13s, and produces between 205 and 220 horsepower.

  3. KA24DE: This 2.4-liter inline-four engine is found in non-turbo models and produces around 150 horsepower.

The S13 was popular among enthusiasts due to its lightweight chassis, rear-wheel drive layout, and abundance of aftermarket support. Many have been modified for racing purposes, and the engines have been known to handle significant amounts of boost and power.
